NQF 5 – The duration of a Learnership/Internship is twelve months.
Responsibilities
- Build the behind-the-scenes software for a wide range of the business and organisational functions.
- Develop and implement applications and programs for the backend processing systems used the businesses and organisations.
- Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs.
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
- Writing and implementing efficient code.
Skills and Experience
Applicants who meet the following minimum criteria will qualify to apply:
- Be a South African citizen by birth
- Candidate must have a valid Diploma/Degree in Information Technology – System Development
- Candidate must have a clear criminal record
- Be presentable and have good English communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidate must not be employed or studying full time
- Application must be abled to provide a valid medical note confirming nature of disability
Exposure in any development application like the following would be advantageous:
- C#
- C++
- JAVA
- ITIL
- AZURE
NQF 5 – Skills and Experience
In order to be considered for this learnership opportunity we require you to meet the following
requirements:
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in IT, completing last year of studies requiring workplace experience
- No more than 2 years working experience
- Be a South African citizen by birth
- Between the ages of 18 – 35
- Must not be employed or studying full time
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- Fully proficient in English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the following would be advantageous: Analytical Machine Learning, Project
- Management and End User Computing.
- Scripting knowledge would be an advantage (Powershell, C, Python: NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn)
- Applicants must be able to provide Valid Medical Certificate confirming nature of disability
