Support and drive continuous improvement tools and methodology to ensure constant improvement of business processes and procedures.
Support the elimination of waste in work processes within the company.
Evaluate best practices and effectiveness of operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Provide project management support to the business as required to ensure project goals are met.
Support implementation of initiatives from Group to meet required outcomes.
Collaborate with multifunctional team to ensure project goals are achieved.
Periodic review of the business’ route to market – network analysis and optimise
Conduct time and motion studies and define standard time accordingly.
Periodic determine required personnel based on defined standard times.
Periodic review of warehouse layouts and picking sequence to improve workflow,
quality and productivity.
Where relevant for a project implemented, train staff on new processes and develop instructions and manuals.
Analyse trends, exceptions and deviations in operations and communicate to the relevant stakeholders.
Periodic reports (including monthly KPIs) to management in areas of responsibility.
Stay abreast of new developments through research and self-study.
Completed Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent, accredited by SAQA.
BSc. Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
1-2 years relevant experience in process optimization and preferably in logistics
Experience within the FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to project manage.
Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to work under pressure.
