Key Performance:

• Mining & Process plant operation (Responsible for mechanical & electrical functions at the mine)
• Implement and enforce safety standards and procedures
• Ensure legal compliance with mine health and safety act
• Engineering planning and scheduling (Asset management)
• Spares, and sub-assembly management
• Budgeting and cost management of respective budgets
• Ensure sub-ordinates are adequately trained
• Maintain good interpersonal relations with other departments
• People & team development

Requirements:

• BSc Engineering Degree/National Diploma (Electrical) or relevant qualification
• Valid trade certificate (Electrical)
• Legal liability training and knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License

Skills:

• Well experienced with Microsoft office

• Budgeting and Cost management
• Ability to network and communicate with all relevant
• Innovative and systems thinking

Experience Needed:

• 5 years Mining experience of which 3 years should have been on a foreman level
• DMS plant experience added advantage
• Mobile machinery experience
