The Practice Head: Security is accountable for developing, leading and executing strategic initiatives related to regional and global practice solutions to ensure the achievement of long-term results within the context of a rapidly evolving digital economy.
“Oversees the product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of the company’s product portfolio for a sub-part of the overall organization (group, division, subsidiary or other sub-part). Defines and drives the business plan, short- and long-term growth strategy and positioning of the company’s products in the market. Directs the end-to-end leadership of new and existing products from inception through all phases of the products’ lifecycle.”
Requirements
- At least 10 years relevant experience in a pre-sales/sales and/or solutions practice leadership role
- Experience leading and innovating within a Security organization or practice within a consulting firm
- A track-record of implementing and leading a successful, global product innovation strategy while also delivering on short-term financial goals and longer-term operational improvements
- Significant experience managing and leading a team of technical and non-technical individuals
- Substantial budget management experience

- Consulting and Enterprise Architecture experience
- Experience of working in international business with people from different backgrounds and cultures and from different countries and regions

Academic Qualifications and Certifications
- A Security related tertiary qualification (CISSP, CISM, CCISO, ISO 27001, SANS) is preferable in addition to a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s level
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and operational aspects of practice solutions, driving the achievement both short-term and long-term objectives and enabling continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Identify key performance drivers, set challenging targets and hold team members accountable for achieving results
- Lead and manage the transformation and growth for selling the practice solutions across the regional footprint
- Directs, owns and optimizes the solution portfolio investment for the owned business solutions for our clients, aligning with the business strategies and priorities
- Is responsible for and takes ownership of the practice P&L. Ensures the practice is appropriately structured to achieve budgets and financial objectives
- Ensure Advisory services growth, including assurance and information security management
- Ensure alignment of practice Solution Architecture with the client Growth priorities, and the MCIS and MNCS Service Divisions
- Localization of the Security portfolio and product lifecycle management to ensure that is RTE/RFS/RFD and fit for the market
- Owns the budgeting process for the practice and works closely finance and sales team to compile the practice budget
- Continually strive to innovate new and differentiated offerings that are repeatable and scalable for our clients to help drive more intimate and longstanding client relationships
- Recommend, lead, identify and create demand for solutions that drive sales and ensure the financial viability for deployment, preparing and reviewing cost estimates
- Lead and manage the practice team and ensure performance goals are constantly reviewed and achieved
- Designs and implements effective leadership structures and governance models.
- Develop and manage a budget for the practice solutions
- Drive the development and support a community of practice where information and best practices can be shared
- Authorize and drive the implementation of operational policies and procedures for optimal practice efficiency
- Lead and drive solution design reviews to ensure capacity to provide the solution and the profitability to the business, whilst ensuring client requirements are met
- Where applicable, provide advice on the development of service level agreements (SLA) and conduct the required reviews to ensure deliverables are met
- Ensure the definition and implementation of standards and tools for new solution architecture and deliver continuous delivery frameworks that will promote and establish a reliable and competitive practice
- Recommend continuous integration for tooling to support regions with automated build, test and deployment with a focus on continuous improvement in quality delivery
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Fluency in Cyber Security related topics with a natural interest in information services and technology
- Significant knowledge of the Security industry and the client Security business, its products, services and vendors
