COMMIS PASTRY CHEF – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – LIMPOPO AND MPUMALANGA

You will be required to assist with facilitating the production of pastries, bread, and desserts, while promoting the company goals of Guest service and satisfaction, teamwork and operations.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • Ability to produce bread and other baked goods using manual and/or industrial processes Training
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Assist with building and decorating cakes
  • Meet production schedules and timelines for pastry needs
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions.

REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Grade 12
  • +- 2years experience in a similar role.
  • Formal Chef qualification (advantageous)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of all dietary and religious requirements.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations for food preparation
  • Ability to multitask
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Willingness to work nights
